The Spanish Society of Transplantation (SET) is a scientific society with national scope within Spain's territories. Its aims are exclusively scientific and are towards the development and progress of organ transplantation in Spain. 

The SET promotes the spreading of knowledge in the field of organ transplantation via a biennial national congress, scientific meetings (conferences, symposia), call for grants and internship opportunities for its members to further their education.

The Spanish Society of Transplantation is working closely with other national and international scientific societies with similar aims, and collaborates with the National Transplant Organization (ONT) in projects of common interest. 

SET also provides advisory services to people and institutions regarding organ transplantation.

SET is proud to host its 2018 Annual Meeting from June 30 to July 1, 2018 at IFEMA, just preceding the World Congress.
